Another successful season of Hero CPL T20 League 2018 concluded in September. This season offered us an amazing opportunity to follow the Trinbago Knight Riders as they went about to become the first team in the league to win back to back championship. Our mandate besides keeping the fans engaged with tailor-made videos for broadcast and social media was also to produce exclusive content for HOTSTAR USA, the principal sponsor of Trinbago Knight Riders. 

4th August : Our work was cut out for us a week before the tournament when the team skipper Dwayne Bravo previewed us the brand new team song. Looking at the song's potential the management got us woking on the music video to be released at the start of the 2018 season. After a week-long production and post production we were ready to release the "We is the Champion" the Official TKR Anthem. 

This high energy track is a tribute to TKR’s incredible CPL 2017 season where they went on to win the championship. Sung in a colloquial tone and vocabulary, this song embodies the Soca(Soul of Calypso) genre of music with a touch of chutney and funk. We decided to make the lyrics a big part of the video visually by applying motion graphics techniques. The video was rendered a pop feel with cursive fonts and wobbly animation and at times mirroring the singers vocal cue (Readyyyyyyy!). With some clever compositing we were able to design a fantasy like sequence of Kevon Cooper hitting the game changing six at the 2017 CPL finals against St.Kitts and Nevis Patriots
